Web Engineer

As a web engineer with over 22 years of experience, I build user-friendly, responsive and secure web applications for clients across many industries, using current technologies and solid engineering practices.

My day-to-day languages are PHP, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python and SQL, but a long career means a long list of others picked up along the way — from Go, Java and C/C++ to Bash, Perl, awk, sed, XPath and XSLT, each with its own place.

One project I'm particularly proud of is Spellchecker.lu, the online spell-checking platform for Luxembourgish I built and ran from 2005 to 2023 — spanning the web service, plugins for LibreOffice and other software, and mobile apps for both Android and iOS.
